Bought a brand new 2020 Te250. Compared to my almost 20 year old kx250 it is pretty damn refined. I love the hydraulic pull clutch. It is super smooth along with the brakes and transmission. I put 2 very short heat cycle rides on the bike today. It does not have that wild 250 MX 2 stroke snap on the top end. The power delivery is more tame compared to the older 250 mx bikes I have ridden. Not a bad thing at all easier to ride. I'm not sure how the power valve comes adjust from the factory

I'm just thrilled with the bike. I am just need my forearm to heal 100% from an injury before I can fully go crazy on the bike

Congrats on the new bike!

Relocated to New Mexico about a month ago... DR350 is currently torn down and I've got pretty much all parts on hand to rebuild it into a solid dual sport over the winter/spring.

That said, I'm thinking about the first proper dirtbike... I'll have 6000-9000ft rocky singletrack outside my back door (perhaps literally - looking at buying a home near national forest & trail access), along with typical southwestern desert riding.

What to do...

Nice! congrats. Full crazy should be a blast on that bike.

Awesome bike. Congrats. :thumbup

Old man jelly. Almost feel like buying one just because two strokes rock and I could putt around with Butch a bit.

Been a minute. :laughing

Enjoy it!

If there ever was a 2 stroke for an old man this is it. The easiest to ride full size 2 stroke I have been. Refined and smooth. Had to order a spark arrestor cant wait to try it out on a short ride at Hollister. Doc said I have tennis elbow so need some time and some rain for a real ride
