Helmet advice after back surgery

I broke my back at T4 last year at the Isle of Man. Since then I have a real problem with vision using my Arai helmets due to restricted movement in my neck. I am restricted in how far I can get off the bike, either side, as I cant get my eyes "up" far enough to correctly gauge turns

Any advice on helmets that have a steep "rake" at the back that offer more movement? I looked at the AGV but cant find one to try on

Thanks in advance :afm199

The AGV has a really steep rake in back (it actually felt weird to me to have wind blowing on the back of my head in that area), so definitely try one!

Our Sacramento location stocks the AGV Corsa R and Pista GP R if you're willing to make the trek down.

Best thing, by far, is to try them on. And seriously, there comes a point in anyone's life where a more standard riding position makes the most sense.

Have your vision checked first. A big eye port doesn't matter if your peripheral vision sucks since you can't make use of it.

Consider one of those mirrors that attach to/near the top of the windscreen and work like blind spot mirrors in cars and trucks.

A different helmet isn't going to make as much difference as augmenting your ability to see more with less head movement.

A different helmet is only part of the solution in your situation.
