HBO is confusing the hell out of me. I have HBO Go and HBO Now, what is the third one for? Do I have to pay again or is it like Go and Now where I pay once and use the same login for both?

Max if free if you already have Now.

Yeah I don’t see any Cinemax on there. I can only think of one show that was a Cinemax one, Strike Back, but I couldn’t find it on HBO Max.

But yeah, all the Warner produced tv shows are on there. Including a little known show called Friends. Pretty big catalog of shows they managed to secure. They also have all the DC Comics stuff, though it’s a far cry from Marvel. However, the highly demanded Zack Snyder cut of Justice League will finally see the light of day on there which is kind of a big deal.

They also secured the rights to all the Harry Potter movies which apparently is the first streaming service to offer that. I have never seen them and probably never will. But they also have Rick and Morty, and I’m happy about that.

All in all, it’s a pretty extensive amount of content in there. Definitely better than Hulu. Not sure if it’s got enough to be better than Netflix or even Disney. But with the HBO heavy hitters like Sopranos and The Wire to anchor things, it’s off to a much better start than Apple TV is.

Ahhh, you're right. I like the interface better than HBO Now which is atrocious to find anything movie related.

Wonder how long the overlap of HBO Now and Max will be til they cut off Now. I just switched over to Max but Now is still working in another tab since I've been on a Game of Thrones binge since Monday.
