Has anyone tried a airplane carburetor on a bike?

They work in all positions.
Gravity fed.
And not overpriced..

Airplane carbs are generally pretty crude compared to bike carbs. I'm not sure they would be a good choice.

Airplane engines are generally designed to run wfo for most of their life. Motorcycles require precision fueling down low in the 2-10% throttle range where people spend most of the time. I bet it wouldn't work as well.

I had to run my DRZ mostly WOT..:laughing
For my ATV. I ended up running a cheap carb saved 400$ works just fine.
I just hate spending 600 for a OEM. Juncker replacement...always looking for alternatives..

Why would you need to run your motorcycle upside down?

The new bikes come with so many aerodynamic wings rumor has it you could ride upside down.

Why is the carb $600? Surely you can find one on ebay for a fraction of that price?

My '69 XLCH had a chain saw carb with no float bowl, factory Tillotson.
They have to run in any position, but won't suffer G forces like a plane.

Aero Injector is a version of Posa motorcycle carb design from the 1970... it is
adapted for homebuilt aircraft use but not for use on certified aircraft... MARVEL
SCHEBLER is an example of a certified aircraft carb... if it looks crude that is
because its 1930 technology... So given its MC origins Aero could work...
