Just got my Harbor Freight Coupon book and they are selling the regular motorcycle lift for $299.99. I have been using mine for almost 10 years now and it has been a great tool

Worth picking up for $299.99 :afm199 marked down from $429.99

Right after the $299 price they reduce it to $279. Just wait a bit if you can.

With two end pieces of 4*6 and a 2*12 as a runner on each side it becomes a ride on if you put a good wheel chock on the end of it. Just screw down the 2*12 to the 4*6 pieces. The bonus is that they also become nice sitting benches when doing things like oil changes etc. The runners let you ride up and put your feet down for side to side leverage. Once the front tire is in the chock you have a place to put your feet as you get off.

Also, drill some extra holes about 1/4 from the back on.each side for extra eyebolts, you'll need them, you can never have too many for tie downs.

Its common sense but don't get lazy and leave the lift in the high position with a bike on it. A small shaker and...

Motorcycle lifts are nice to have. Although I was looking at the catilytic (sp?)converter on my KTM and don't think mine will work on that.

But I 've used to hoist my FJR and Bonneville a few times, nice!
