I watched the NYC NYE at 9 and pretended it was midnight. For about the last 10 years or so my English and Scottish friends around here have toasted the GMT New Year at 4pm our time... we did it virtually this year.

Happy New Years all you Party Animals! I was up till 11 last night celebrating by watching Netflix.

We had a very 'rona restricted NYE party outdoors.
A steady 6mph wind from the NW easy to use for a shield, temps high 40's,
music, wood & p'pane fire pits, DIY fire charred treats, dogs to smores, 7 to 10pm.

After everyone else called 2020 over, I went out to 4th hole T box, and put two 45 slugs into 2020's A$$ @ midnite.

Vaccinated!

Frankly I can't complain too much about 2020 from a personal standpoint. A lot of good things happened that I need to remember to be grateful for.
New house....that did not get swallowed up in the fire. Minimal damage is a good thing.
New job that I love. Couldn't be happier about my employment situation.
I got engaged. I honestly never thought I would ever say those words again and now I want to shout them from the roof top.
All of my loved ones including my aging dog are happy and best of all healthy.

2020 was a traumatic year for too many people and I am humbly grateful that I wasn't one of them. I hope 2021 treats everyone here kindly. Thanks for being here, Barf.
