I love Da Whores
Beautiful looking Fox Terrier.
Most of the Show Dogs are trained to stand still for grooming.
I had an Airedale once. She was quite patient while being groomed. I spent a minimum of 45 minutes a week to just brush her.

Silence

Has bad taste
I wouldn't say this is a common practice but that can help the groomer maneuver their scissors more easily to help shape the legs all the way down to their paws. After you're done with that bit of work, you can lower them back on the normal grooming table. :dunno

Cream Puff???
suspended by the leash.. if he falls .. wouldn't it be strangaling this animal?

how about I put a choke leash on you guys and put you on jack stands to show me your posture..

it's sickend me to see this …

guess i'm alone in this and i'm the only one that finds this disturbing. I wouldn't want this done to me ..

I kinda doubt the owner/groomer is going to let the dog strangle. The leash is probably being held or sitting on something loosely. I bet its being held and they lifted their hand up to get out of the picture

Even if the groomer hates dogs, that pup is probably worth thousands of dollars, they are going to be really careful to take care of it.

A quick google image search shows dog shows use these grooming tables with stands supporting leashes.

If I had to bet, I'd bet a medium to large dog would just cause the stand to collapse. And I'd bet anything that in any event, one of the many people nearby would immediately come to the rescue and prevent any dog from strangling.

And the paw stands are irrelevant; the dog could just fall or jump off the table and be in the same situation.

The dog is on what is called a grooming arm. That arm is attached like a monitor stand to a folding table. That leash is taught but as you can see from your picture it is not at full length as safety is thought of throughout the process.

Maybe the OP learned something. That photo, while to me doesn't even register on my radar could cause alarm to others. Hopefully the OP will take the time to learn about how animals are kept during shows and see that this is a nothing burger.
