Throttle Therapy
Hey barf,
Price: $2000 obo with 2% to Budman if sold here.
Cold start up/walk around video on YouTube:
https://youtu.be/ZZFDKXvZeyE
Selling my R6s that my cousin recently sold me last month. My Kawasaki was stolen in May, so he gave me a good deal on his R6s. I picked up a touring bike instead, so I'm selling this one. Listing on barf before it goes on CL.
He did one track day on it at Laguna Seca in C group around 2012, but mostly used for commuting. He never rode recklessly, he's 35 years old with 5 kids. Like I said, C group pace kind of rider who's very mature and considerate. This was his first ever motorcycle, so he babied it since new.
Pros:
-Clean title in hand
-Registration good until June? 2020
-Im 2nd owner, my cousin is original owner (bought new in 2007) and maintained it religiously. Garaged it's whole life until I acquired it, now it's stored outside under a bike cover
-Valves checked at 26k and 52k
-Scorpion slip on with baffle
-Smoked windscreen
-Flush turn signals
-Fender eliminator
-Red Spiegler brake lines front and rear
-Frame sliders
-Tank grips
-Bstone B16 front tire, T30 rear. Front is new, rear has ~50% life.
-Paint in good condition
-Recent oil and filter change 6/19
-Bled the front brakes 6/19
-Chain and sprockets in good shape
-Newer battery
-Solo cowl included
Cons:
-He said it died on him once a couple months ago during hard acceleration when merging on the freeway. I haven't been able to replicate it? It idles and runs great
-Dropped once, he spray painted the tail fairing black
-Normal wear from a 12 year old bike
-No rear turn signals
-No tire hugger or chain guard
-Slight weeping from right fork
-Ignition a little sticky, graphite used and helped the key turn easier
-Passenger seat has a small tear
-Needs new handlebar grips
Located in SLO county. I didn't get any receipts, but I'll ask if he saved them. I'm probably missing some details; feel free to PM with any questions. Will take more pictures soon. Thanks for looking! -Joel
