Friday the 13th: Lucky Day for This Guy

A man was rescued this morning after driving a minivan off a 150' cliff near Devils Slide. The van was submerged in the surf line, the man got out and climbed up the rocks, out of the surf. A firefighter rappelled to him, tied him in and the two were raised back to the roadway. The guy sustained minor injuries.

2 wheels over the edge...thats lucky. All 4 wheels...much less so.

Last person to go over the edge died, and it wasn't even six months ago.

Hwy 1 between El Granada and the south end of the Harvey Milk tunnel should be restricted to residents or at the very least a toll road. The tourists cause so many dangerous problems. Weekends are unbelievably dangerous. Tourists should be limited to taking Hwy 92 into HMB.
