Free Stuff....

I was going through my garage the other day and found some stuff that someone might want to give a new home.  I'll remove items as they become spoken for.

First off are a bunch of old Motorcycle Classics calendars.  You might say "What?  Who'd want those?".  Well, the nice thing about them is that each month is a wonderful photograph of a classic motorcycle, perfect for removing from the calendar and wall papering you garage or workshop.  They are the older style like this one where the picture is 11 x 17 on a black background:

https://www.amazon.com/2019-Motorcycle-Classics-Calendar-Publishing/dp/1576201333

I have the following:

1994
1996
1997
2000
2002
2003
2004
2006
2007
2008

That’s about 120 great images of vintage bikes to plaster your garage or workshop with.

More free stuff:

The Motorcycle Diaries by Che Guevara https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-D...sprefix=The+Motorcycle+,stripbooks,194&sr=1-6

Motorcycle Journeys Through California by Clement Salvador - free

Motorcycle Journeys Through The Southwest - new

And last, but not least.....Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. - like new
This version: https://www.amazon.com/Zen-Art-Motor...r=8-4-fkmrnull

For those who are not familiar with this book, it's not about maintaining a motorcycle, though it does give some insight in a general sort of way. It's more a philosophy book that examines the nature of "quality".

It's definitely not an easy read but if you can get into it, it's superb.

I would not mind having Twist of the Wrist, but if a newer rider is interested I would pass that on for sure.

It's yours unless you decide it should go to someone else.

I could have sworn I had Twist of the Wrist II somewhere, but I can't find it.

Cool... I have II myself. I must have loaned out I.... and it was never returned.

Let's see if someone else wants it. ;)

Well.....

It's been years since I had a McMaster catalogue...it's online now. I don't need parts for a bike I don't have (though thanks for the offer), and I'm trying to get rid of calendars, not accumulate more.

I'll accept the offer of 50 for "The Challenge...." and the rest are free anyway. I'll put your name on verything in your list. PM me to arrange a meet. :twofinger

I should mention that the calendars are used and have a few notes in the day boxes. Shouldn't affect using the pix, though, as the dates would be on the back side.

Thanks for reminding me that the rider I mentored 5+ years ago, (still a friend so I know where he lives), still has my freaking copy! :laughing

I'll bet he can't find it.

That's pretty much a guarantee with my friend Gary.

Great start to the weekend with bfast with fam on Lincoln Ave. Havent been out here for 42 years. Then treated to the hospitality of ST Guy and his wife, and dog Gracie where we were wowed by an impromptu musical performance. To top it off got to meet Enchanter and Budman. Good times.

It was great to see you all today....Butch, Rick, Enchanter, and Budman. BARF has been a big part of my motorcycling life for a long time now and it was wonderful to meet some faces in person.

And I have to give a special thank you for Budman for starting and maintaining this amazing space for all us motorcycle enthusiasts. And a big thanks to Enchanter and the other people intimately involved with BARF who keep it all running smoothly. Awesomeness all around!

Oh, I still have a few calendars left. Separate out the pages and pin the pix to the garage or workshop wall.

And I still have the following two books:

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (like new)

Motorcycle Journeys Through California by Clement Salvadori

(like new though it does have an inscription from my wife inside the front cover)
