Freakin' sweet rd

152 on the Watsonville side! Haven't been on it since they repaved it.I had the day off and decided to explore around the hills in the Watsonville/Gilroy area since I haven't done that in forever. Actually got to ride it 3 times(don't normally do "laps",ride it and move on)with no traffic in front of me ,just freakin' sweet!

Ended up finding a few roads I haven't been on and racking up 170 miles and having a blast just staying local but 152 was the high lite.:thumbup

Hecker Pass is a standard part of the south bay pie ride route, and if you ride it unimpeded, it's big, big fun! :ride

You mean the constructions all finished? I've avoided 152 for a while due to the couple construction single lane traffic lights.

Ya, but, there are huge advantages to the construction. The traffic is stopped for the lights. You wait at Madonna for the first car to appear, and off you go with no one in front of you. Going back up is luck and circumstance and passing knowledge and balls. In addition, you don't HAVE to wait behind all the cars on the east side. You can risk passing everyone on the dy and get to the front. Again, clear canyon road when the light changes. If I was riding more, right now, I might not tell anyone sheet about the good part.

It is with no traffic Steve! Off again today(all week actually)rode it again on my drz along with Mt Madonna rd,Hazel Dell,eureka canyon,Buzzards,Rider rd and others I don't remember.:thumbup
