oooh :( Jeff was a good dude and a respectful racer. Had some good races with him in the late 80's, he on his superbike and me on my little 250. Made for interesting lines thru corners and real close quarters.

I cannot say we were 'friends' in the traditional sense, but we were certainly stout competitors with a healthy amount of respect for one another.

Once our racing days were over we had this unique way of signing off on our communications.

Jeff was known as _,1,1_
And I as 1,_,_,1

Jeff being Formula Pacific Champion in 1998 and 1999, I being Champion in 1997 and 2000

Hopefully there will be services posted when available, as I wish to pay my respects to a man who earned it.

I can confirm that my Dad did pass away, gone way too soon, he was only 58. Thank you guys for the kind words about him.

Thank you very much. Hopefully we can get all of the motorcycle people together and do a memorial soon, I think plans are in the works for it. Will keep this forum posted when I get more information.

Please keep up posted Nick. AFM #1 plates are a unique and rare breed. Jeff was most certainly, that.

Hi Nick,
I didn't know your dad, but I did some time in the afm and love motorcycle just like your dad Jeff. I would be honored to do a memorial ride in your dads honor and memory.

Best wishes to you and your family.
