Forcefield (t-pro) Back Protectors

I'm curious about the Forcefield Blade back protector and how the thickness compares to the Pro L2 EVO. Anyone have any experience with these? I have a Pro Sub 4 but want to find something thinner.

I recently bought a pro i2 evo, it is a tight fit underneath my new dainese leathers but they're still stretching, I like it so far. Will be wearing it at Sonoma track day

They carry Forcefield products at Johnson Leather Works if you would like to look at them in person. If that is any help to you.

It's a bit of a trip from Santa Rosa to the city, but nothing gives you the idea of the size and fit better than trying it on...

I have the pro2 and wear it everyday under my leathers. My racer buddy has the pro4. I felt the thickness of both and the pro2 is half the thickness...better for everyday use IMO:thumbup

TTT. I too have a suit that is pretty tight (RS Taichi if that helps discussion). Need to make decision soon as to which will be thinnner, Pro L2 Evo or Blade? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies and offer from Jason to try on his BP. I ended up just buying a second suit but I did find information on the thicknesses. The Evo has a little better impact resistance over the Blade which is what I would have chosen.

Pro Sub4 32mm
Pro L2K Evo 23.5mm
Blade 22.5mm

^^^^^^^thanx klx- rider. Just the info I needed. ^^^@RRR70, purpose of protector is to mitigate blunt trauma, not sharp objects, or so I've heard or read somewhere before?

I bought the blade a while ago and returned it because it looked and felt way too thick. Blade is definitely a misnomer. I just picked up the pro l2k evo and it looks and feels thinner than the blade. It's also just a bit shorter than the pro sub 4 which I also have. I can actually fit the pro l2k under my 2pc with top and bottom zipped together. Pretty pleased with it so far!

Think about going over the high side and landing on a lever, footpeg, or sharp corner of a hard part. Although they probably won't penetrate the T-Pro like that ballpoint pen, it won't offer much in terms of spreading the load out.

I'll take my hard back protector.
