I am pretty sure that most of the old bikes that I THINK that I still want would be thoroughly disappointing. I can't even stand my eleven year old bike much anymore.

I can relate to a degree. I start thinking about selling my FZ-1 every so often. Then I go for a ride on it and that thought leaves my head. Plus, I've been riding since the 80s and never actually ridden a smoker. Granted, it's probably like with many things. The dream of it is far better than the reality. :laughing
