I have already been to Pismo once. We had fun but we'd rather be riding CC, Foresthill, Stonyford, or even Dumont dunes. Besides, there is the 49ers Family enduro next weekend! You guys have fun at Pismo!!! :thumbupDanZX9R said:

On my way to help out up there tomorrow, the event should be fun.
We changed our plans at the last minute. Instead of riding the FG, we went to Foresthill. We rode the lower part on Saturday (1, 2, 3, 4, 7, lower 5). Lots of fun. Most people were riding on 1 & 2 around Sugar Pine so the other trails were great. 3-3 and 5 were the best.
Today (Sunday) we were on our way out and ran into a group coming back from the higher part of 5. It was closed, too much snow. We decided to do trail 6. Well it took us about 2 hours to make about 2 miles from China Wall. Deep snow, fallen trees, deep snow, fallen trees, etc... We did a lot of bush wacking to go around the many trees blocking the trail. We took a couple pictures, I'll post when I get them developped. We rode back to the staging area, had lunch and drove home.
Next weekend is the 49ers Family Enduro...
Today (Sunday) we were on our way out and ran into a group coming back from the higher part of 5. It was closed, too much snow. We decided to do trail 6. Well it took us about 2 hours to make about 2 miles from China Wall. Deep snow, fallen trees, deep snow, fallen trees, etc... Ya missed a great enduro! The conditions were just awesome - as I'm sure FH was as well. It was a tough enduro (as if there is anything but a tough enduro
) - lots of single track - maybe half the trails were new for this enduro - they were VERY cool trails!!
Lost my master link at mile 2 :mad - took 23 min. to get running again - caught up to a log jam of about 40 bikes trying to get through this one section on a new trail:barf - stopped to help a rider that went off the trail and down the hill 15 feet - took 4 of us to carry / push the bike back up to the trail. I was 45 min. off my time by then - 16miles into the 96 mile race - tried to keep from houring out but at check 8 I houred out - around mile 70 - rode the rest of the race and finished at about 50 min. off my time. Tough day all in all but as usual it was woth it!!
