The last two times I know people got hit, we staked out the area for a couple of days. Soda pop, youtube, and two cars. Both time we found the person and positively ID'ed damages on the car as a match and got lawyers involved.

Humans are creatures of habit. It's likely a regular route for him. If he's not just visiting, he'll hit up the same intersection on a different day.

I hit a pedestrian once (he ran out in front of me while I was splitting lanes) and while I was asking him if he was ok, *he* ran off. That was a weird one.

I live right near there, and in my experience drivers fail to yield to pedestrians at that crosswalk about 1/2 the time.

Hope this POS gets caught. Will definitely keep an eye out.

How can you ID him from that pic and if you think you see him what would you do?

Toss stick in his front-wheel spokes? Then kick him in kidneys while he's down?

I knew an 85-year old guy while at university that was killed in crosswalk by drunken kid on bicycle. Your head hits ground at about 25mph when you're knocked over.

I used the "enhance" function on my computer by yelling "enhance!" that I always see them doing on those CSI-type shows. Unfortunately, I zoomed in and it's pixelated on my machine. WTF?

I've had so many close calls in SF, I assume I'll more like die as a pedestrian than due to anything happening to me on my motorcycle. Always fun to get buzzed by drivers yelling at you to get out of the cross walk while your walking your senior dog as fast as his aging stumpy legs will carry him.

When I'm walking downtown Willow Glen, there's always a driver or two that ignores people in the crosswalk. Yelled at one yesterday.

I knock on sheet metal when a car doesn’t stop for me in the crosswalk. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised at the occasional belligerence, once had a third party ready to record the incident with her phone.

If I see some guy wearing a green helmet and a tan jacket riding a maroon cruiser, I'll text the SFPD tip line. Not much else I can do, but better than nothing.

I'm sure this is all over Nextdoor too, so the entire neighborhood will be getting its Gladys Kravitz on.

Bonus points for oil canning the fender, but not causing permanent damage :)
