ECU Remap/Dyno shops in Santa Cruz/SJ

Inbound @ this time, over
Hey All,

I'm super far removed from the scene there at this point, but I would like to take good care of an old friend with a new SV and a M4 full exhaust. He lives in SC, but could easily go over the hill. I know this is splitting hairs in terms of power, but I thought it might be nice if I sent him a K&N filter and gift card of sorts to a tuner that will map that thing perfectly. Again, it's not about big power gains, but good seat of the pants, efficient fueling and a guy FEELING like he's gotten an awesome B-day gift :) Last time I had a bike tuned/dyno'd I went to Fast Line in Fremont, but I'd love to get him something closer. :thumbup

Most shops will only tune a bike if it shows up with no lights on a trailer, or in the back of a truck as a "track Only" bike. Emissions issues.
And K&N filters may not be the best thing to use if he wants his engine to last.

I know Doug Chandler has a dyno and I believe he is near the SC area. Norcal Cycles also has a dyno. Factory pro is not in or near the south bay or sc area but they do great work as well. You may want to confirm if the SV has a piggy back or is flashable before you send it to the dyno. Although if possible I suggest flashing the ecu and tuning the piggy back at the same time for best results. Good luck!
