ebay motorcycle boots - scam?

I assume this is some type of scam - either the boots are counterfeit or there are no boots or something.

Anyone have any insight?

I’ve been caught twice trying to buy cheap motorcycle boots from eBay ..you buy the boots couple of days later Ebay send you a message to say they pulled the ad..
Then you have to wait till the delivery date..before you can put a claim against the seller with eBay to get your money back..it’s a pain in the ass I gave up trying to buy cheap boots from China

Yup. Fake. I have bought a pair of Salomon Speedcross running shoes off eBay once. They came, but obvious fake. Wore them anyway and they fell apart in like two days.

There's a shit load of fake crap on amazon also. Even 3M VHB tape (I ordered some and a roll of 5M! VHB arrived) and BATTERIES! Wtf.

Thanks for the feedback. I assumed it was a scam and wondered what I was missing. I honestly don't even know how they could ship fake boots here from China for that price.

Sounds like they'd be better off listing them for $175 or $195 or something that seems "reasonable" - they'd make a lot more money.
