Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Turns out I have to wait a bit more before I can get a motorcycle. Gotta get a better job that'll let me move outta my parent's place. I do think I'll end up with a DR though if I don't have enough for a separate street and dirt bike; I want to get into riding dirt and the DR seems better suited while still allowing me to take my long treks around California highways. It seems a DR made slab worthy will fit the kind of riding I want to get into better.
