DRZ400SM oil catch pan for AFM racing?

I got my AFM competition license last November and I'm going to enter my 2006 DR-Z400SM in the Formula 40 Lightweight (it's split into Lightweight and Heavyweight for 2009, right?) class.

Anyway, I'm safety wiring the bike, but I don't know what is required as far as an oil catch pan is concerned.

I'd appreciate any info on what is required and how to meet that requirement.

Any general comments on race prep'ing a DR-Z400SM for AFM racing is also welcome.

Thanks!

You need to make a belly pan.

This thread will help. There are links there for bellypans.

I bought Tom Dorsey's DRZ400sm that won the AFM 250 Production championship in 2007. Its a street bike for me so you can just have the catch pan he used.

If you want to look over the bike and see his saftey wiring and other prep solutions, just let me know. Send me a PM.
