Double murder in my neighborhood

This happened in my neighborhood and everyone is talking about it. They seemed like a normal family and my neighbors have kids that are friends with the daughter. Some rumorers say there were money problems. Other people say the stress of the pandemic is causing crazy tempers. I never thought this crazy thing would happen here. Why would a father do this to their family? It’s so senseless. I hope the news will give us more information. I also hope there won’t be more things like this happening.

It’s Sunnyvale, next to San Jose. The guy was an engineer so he surely had a good income and good job prospects there in the heart of Silicon Valley

I had a classmate in elementary school who this happened to in grade 5. Dad came home from work one day and shot the entire family.. no real motive, guy just snapped.

This was in Canada btw.

I'm sure Covid is taking a massive mental health toll on people and not helping right now.

I have kids and can’t understand how someone could harm their kids. He probably killed the mom and then decided he just ruined his kids life, so he killed her too. Horrible.

Highest cost of living in the country and many jobs leaving. I know and know of quite a number of people affected by layoffs in the area. And people leaving to make a lot less money elsewhere because of cost of living.

You can’t speculate about their finances.

I mean statistically if youre a woman, the most dangerous person in your life is your intimate partner.
