Ask me about my B-1-D
BARF doggy pack leaders, do you encourage your pups to howl at emergency vehicle sirens ?

I've got 2 golden retrievers. I've tried getting them to howl but they just won't. The closest they get to howling is stringing their barks together when someone makes it up to the door without them hearing the approach.

my lady friend has two little shitzu somethings and we recently tried getting them to howl and they go wild. even at the first howl they immediately run up super concerned and if we keep doing it eventually they build up to it. otherwise they never howl. it's some good quarantine entertainment

Only one of mine seems to do the howl reflex at the emergency vehicles. Luckily she only seems to howl when she is outside, so not at night etc.

I live close to a fire station so my hound Clark lets loose with howls fairly regularly. I join in occasionally.

I tried to get our Lab to howl, no luck. The wife wanted to get an Airdale so we did. Damn, that dog could howl and the Lab started because of the Airdale. Lost the Airdale but the Lab continued to howl at any emergency vehicle.

My dog Delmar face time howled with my bud's dog Louie. Just happened spur of the moment.

I used to love firing up the harmonica at stoplights when he had his big ol' head hanging out the truck window. Everyone loves looking at a happy 110lb. Boxweiler letting loose.

Rolls with it...
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked,
dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix,
angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night,
who poverty and tatters and hollow-eyed and high sat up smoking in the supernatural darkness of cold-water flats floating across the tops of cities contemplating jazz....

my Chi's do not howl and when I howl at them they get scarred and run for cover or they lick my face(if I allow them to do so)

I thought you were talking about the 8PM howl that goes on everynight. No, Bossdog is not encouraged to howl.

I heard about the 8pm howl that many countries are participating in. I hear nothing out here but I believe some Californians are doing it.

Its Dethklok!
I've taught my Lab not to bark unless you step foot on the property or ring the bell. Then your gonna get the machine gun doggo.

My Lhasa doesn't howl. They only time I hear her bark is when she is sleeping and chasing something in her dreams.
