Some of you know I dig Disco’s artwork. I have bought a few.

Last year I asked him to do another one for me.
One of my favorite motorcycle racing pictures from my brief decade long racing life.

I sent him a photo and he sent me back a timeless piece of art. :thumbup

Something about art that melts time into emotion for me. Dig my photos but something about the thought and skill that go into creating an image vs capturing it that I just dig more.

Not taking away from a good photographer by any means just expressing how I feel about a created piece that melds a lot of time and a lot of skill. I was a competitive high school artist who was convinced to take a different path in life because of coin. I still have heart burn over that decision but I sure have kept a respect for those that do their thing and are really good.

Disco I consider really good.

So.

My son and I in a pre-race “I love you”.

Funny..... My fav racing pics don’t have a moto in them, rather they treasure a moment which like a piece of art lasts a long time.

Thanks D

I love it.

Nice, very nice. I can only imagine how meaningful that will become. Framed photo in the future please.

Good job! It's hard to paint people, so I've heard.... And it's a subjective thing.

I've seen that image as your avatar and thought of making it in metal. I could see the magic in that photo. That moment is a cherished gift that I'm sure stirs deep emotion.
