okay so im tempted to dip into the dirty side of the force. is there a place where i can rent a dirtbike and ride it on track or trail to learn some dirt skillz?

I'm not connected with them, but they rented out to my buddy. The rental came with some gear like a helmet and some gloves. I think maybe even boots, but not sure about that.

Aside from what they have listed on the site, they also have some crappy chinese dirtbikes you can borrow and throw around in the dirt.

Brok McAllister of SupermotoUSA offers bike rentals and instruction at his arenacross/tt track in Sacramento. I did his Dirt Skills School in July and really liked it. He also offers one on one instruction. If you're interested in supermoto, he'll gear your dirt instruction toward supermoto riding. He runs California Supermoto Schools, too.

+1 for Rich Oliver. I did the 2-day fun camp last year, and it was more fun (and more learning) than a trackday. Who knew that sliding around on TTR-125s in the mud could be so entertaining?

FYI - We are now offering rentals starting at just $75. for the day and that includes use of the Dirt tracks we opperate at Prairie City SVRA near Sacramento.

Advance reservations are required and we also have a limited amount of some MX gear as well.

CRF150 / 230 are the primary bikes

Anyone know a place that currently rents "real" dirt bikes, ideally CRF450s or similar?

I have a group of friends coming out from New England, 5 or 6 expert trail riders, we want to do a day or two at Stonyford.
