Dion Device Availability?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Dion Device is still being manufactured/sold? Everywhere says it's out of stock or discontinued...

Alternatively, does anyone know of another lever guard that mounts inboard of the grip like the Dion? With the bar end ones I can't get my throttle hand position where I want it for right hand turns.

Can't remember where, but I thought I read about them being discontinued by the manufacturer. But maybe I'm remembering wrong.

I just remember reading it and thinking that I wasn't at all surprised, because I always thought they were waaaay too expensive for what they were. Maybe you can still find one used.

FWIW, if you search google you can find URLs for FB that haven't been updated in 3-4 years and a website that is now advertising for what looks like the "personal service" industry in Japan. Sorry, I don't have a good idea for sourcing them though.

The Dion was manufactured by the guys that owned Leo Vince in Northern CA. When they went out if business around two years ago so did the Dion. It looks like they tried for a while with the Dion 2, but for whatever reason it didn't catch on. Up until about three months ago I actually had an extra one, but it went as a spare with a bike I sold.

I have never seen an inboard lever guard other than the Dion.

Thanks guys! Sounds like I'll try and keep mine alive as long as I can (it's not in perfect shape at the moment, my pic is relevant) but eventually be switching back to the bar end style.
