So this "biker" with a useless leather helmet, is a what?
This is exactly how I envisioned Lou. I totally thought that was him...a Lou.
:laughing :thumbup I did start riding, when absolutely No One wore a helmet, for street highway riding... :afm199
Equipment lesson back then: I had my helmet strapped to the side of my bike because it was hot. I went to get new tires, lost the GS1000 on cement, bounced my face off of a BMW 2002 bumper. That was the last time I took my helmet off to ride in the street....
I'm not even that old and remember the days of helmet-less riding.

People, including me, were wearing Bell driving helmets, because there were so few choices for motorcyclists. And leathers cost more than bikes. It was different, for sure. :laughingWhen I started riding no one wore a helmet except those who raced. We wore them all the time:thumbup Never understood the rider with a wool cap to keep their head warm.
