spent 3 seasons at Del Puerto CDF station, that terrain is not easy, they'll probably let it run till it get's to an area they can actually deal with it.
Good luck wildland firefighters.

Is this near Laguna Seca or will it impact events there? Riding next Monday w/PTT and an 8ht drive away.

Scary stuff. Calfire is up to their eyeballs with all these fires. Hopefully no more lightning for a while!

Hopefully The Junction survives. If it's lost, surely we'd never see something there for some time considering the recent change of ownership, COVID, and constant fire danger.

Can't imagine fighting fires back there. It's exhausting just standing around in that canyon in the summer.

Fuck 2020. My sister's house burned down last night and my mom is about to be evacuated. Vacaville is about to be surrounded by a wall of fire.

EDIT: Family is sorted - I'm in a holding pattern. For those in the vacaville/fairfield/napa area, I have my truck ready to roll from Vallejo area. If anyone needs help getting out, PM me so I get an email notification. I also have a generator fueled up and ready if needed. Will also offer up my cargo trailer if there's something big/valuable that needs to be moved. I have a spare room if anyone is displaced and needs somewhere to stay, too.
