Highly unlikely Marvel will ever make an R rated movie. Deadpool deserves it but it won't happen. A pushing the limits PG-13 is the best we can hope for.

You know, I'm actually wondering why one of the big studios like HBO or Showtime haven't done a "Superheroes" series yet. Yeah, it gets boring watching the same person win over and over - so why not make it a series, and every season has a different focus/hero? Plenty of stories to tell, they wouldn't run out of material for ages. They could do Deadpool as a multi-episode part of the series.
