since being involved in a major accident in north carolina and surviving to ride another day, i now had my last MRI and x-rays and will be scheduled for surgery soon. this will keep me off my motorbike for a minimum of 6 months for recovery. well at least i have the forum to keep me occupied.

Could you tell us about your accident? :) I might have missed it in all the threads that BARF has a day. Nice to have it linked here for those interested.

Figures, i guess i should have been wearing it.....:shocker

Oh, Rudy!!!

I'm really sorry! We've only met that one time, yet you were a true gentleman and I feel very connected to you. Let me know if you need a hand during your mending.

All the best!

Marc.

p.s. My wife doesn't let me ride without the vest.

Holy Crap!! That's always on my mind when I pass someone with their blinker on to turn left across my path. Glad to hear you're doing pretty good.

Maybe we can get one of the bigtime mods to merge the 2 threads here. :)

thanks Brad appreciate it, going into surgery tomorrow at 0700 to repair the break in my clavicle, repair the muscle that holds the clavicle to the chest bone, and repair some ligaments around the shoulder area. this is the first part of the surgery. as soon as my left is healed then surgery on my right shoulder is scheduled to repair that. :thumbup

should be good as new an able to continue my 4 corners US trip summer of next year. then off the Australia and Europe to travel the Alps through France, Spain, Germany, and Italy.

Rudy - I just read your original thread.

I wish nothing but the best for you.

Hang in there.
