How much interest bearing CC debt do you currently have?

If you pay off your balance every month, check zero.

I have zero debt at all, not just CC. im philisophically against it in anything other than an forced emergency.

debt is a great tool for business but a terrible one for personal use

0-few thousand. I use a cc for almost all my purchases. Pay it off every few days, have never carried a balance long enough to get charged any interest

Is it debt if you pay it off every month? That's the best way to use a card if you can... otherwise the interest rates are usually very high as compared to things like mortgages and auto loans.

I've got a card from my CU with a low rate. I have been known to allow the balance to carry over but it is not the norm. The others get paid down as I purchase.

As a result of the debt we incurred when we bought our house, we could gross ~22% profit in 1.5 years if we sold the house right now. It's not all bad, IMO.

We pay as many bills as possible with an AMEX card and pay the bill in full every month. Other than that we have no CC debt.

Debt is a tool. It can be used and misused. To state that debt has no positive role in private life is nonsensical, most especially here in the states where a bulk of small business files on personal 1040's. Debt is required to build a credit rating, once again pretty fundamental to life in the states for normal people.
Having said that, loading up on CC carryover debt is quite possibly the worst thing you could ever do, especially with prime being at ~0% cos of QE of the last 10 years....
