Coffee, Pastries, MotoGP Races and a MotoAmerica Jr. Cup rider 4/8/18

Hello All,

Wanted to reach to all of you and invite you to a live showing of the MotoGP round at Argentina.

Allan Hermansen of Vicci Moto and who did our MotoAmerica crew shirts last year, also has a cafe and has graciously extended his cafe on Sunday April 8th so that we can all watch MotoGP racing live. We will be opening the doors around 7:30am so that we can begin watching Moto3 at 8am, Moto2 at 9:20 and MotoGP at 11.

This viewing will also be a way to have a fundraiser for Marc Edwards and Eric Kondo Racing team to help offset costs for Marc so he can compete in MotoAmerica and AFM this year.

Through the support of sponsors and individuals, we are gathering raffle items, however, if you have any ideas for raffle prizes, or would like to contribute something, please contact me. We are also discussing the possibility of having the ability to purchase/order a Marc Edwards racing t-shirt and have it made that same day while you are watching the races.

Marc will be present so it's great time to meet him, take a picture with him or get an autograph and wish him luck in his 2018 campaign. Also on hand will be other racing members of the EKR team such as Ashlee Deskin and Gordon Pull.

More news to follow for sure as we continue to solidify the event, but if you could please share the flyer with friends and family who enjoy racing, it would be greatly appreciated.

On April 8th, EKR was able to pull together a fundraiser for Marc Edwards and the EKR team with the assistance of Vicci Moto in Petaluma.

Our gracious host was Allan Hermansen who has a nice little cafe established along side his custom apparel shop. He was there early to have coffee drinks, pastries and breakfast burritos ready for those interested while also viewing the live races from Argentina! Not only did he host us but he provided some really cool raffle prizes with some being race mementos from Ben Spies and Andrea Dovizioso which comprised of flags, shirts, keychains and wristbands. Were very cool indeed, especially because of the livery being from the early days.

This event could also not have been as successful as it was without some of our sponsors who provided items for raffle such as Bay Area Riders Forum, Cycle Gear, Motion Pro, and Z2 Track Days. And we were also very appreciative of the individuals who also reached out to provide some great prizes.

And thanks to our behind the scenes media queen Ashlee for getting stuff out there while I ran my mouth hahaha. If only I could master that auction talk! And thank you to all our sponsors who have supported and assisted EKR and helped with Marc's growth over the last year.

We are looking forward to VicciMoto's series of viewing events and maybe getting to do another co-hosted event with them soon!
