Fooling with new software, looks ugly because I don't know how to use it.

Anyway, Italian Riders in the top spots, with CS thrown in the mix while he learns the track enough to dominate.

I wonder if Marco used a qualifier. He has a huge gap on Valentino.

I don't count Pier-Francesco Chili as a winner in 89. All the factory riders voted to "not" race, so he went out and got an easy win in front of the privateers.

Bumping this as this has more graphics and discussion than the other thread and the name is so much more cuter!!!

Ah,so that was the race.
Originally posted by JonBoy "Some more to the P.F. Chilli win at Misano on the HB Honda with Pirelli tyres, my memory tells me there was some form of boycott of that race(safety issues I think) by the major stars of the time (Lawson, Schwantz, Spencer, Gardner, Rainey etc) and Chilli was "instructed" to ride. He won, of course, and the other podium spots were filled by "second string" riders"

More news: http://www.crash.net/news_view~cid~6~id~153697.htm

"An R6 competing in the Superstock series landed inside a fortunately empty grandstand during June's World Superbike weekend at the revised Italian circuit."

Scary indeed. If it could do that, they seriously need to reconsider the track safety issues.

Looking for pics of it at the moment...please share if you have any info?
