Does anyone know how much of Carnegie has re-opened? I stopped by the ranger station a few weeks ago and only two trails were open. They said they were working to open up more trails, but I have not heard any updates.

Does anyone know if they got any rain today? I was looking on their website and it says they close for at least 12 hours when they hit certain amounts. The weather link shows 0.0" but we got a decent amount of rain in the east bay.

Weather Conditions: Carnegie SVRA Weather Link
The hills at Carnegie SVRA will be closed for a minimum of 12 hours when we reach the following rain thresholds, as measured by the gauge at the park entrance.
• More than 0.30" in 12 hours
• More than 0.50" in 24 hours
• More than 0.65" in 48 hours

no rain, there were 8 trails closed, all of black bear also, it was chaos out there ,a lot of people, riding like they thought they were the metal mulisha on the fireroads, not one park ranger until a rider got hurt, than they locked us in on a trail over by the motocross track where the trail crosses the road, told the ranger hey the gate is closed at the other end, she said oh, i didnt know that, hahhahahahahahahah, yeah,

That’s why I avoid that place. It’s fun the day after it rains and first thing in the morning when the knuckleheads are still recovering from the night before.

My first choice is riding single track in the forests!!

yes sir, mine too, but my coworker from his last trip with us to Georgetown was really gun shy when I mentioned the forest, hes not been riding more than 6 months and we took him on some really good nasty stuff at Georgetown,he quit after 9 miles, so im trying to help him get used to riding than take him up in the forest again, hahahahahahh
