Hopefully by this weekend, I will have a low miles, original mint condition (9.4 out of 10) 2002 GSXR Movistar Telefonica for sale.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it, if you don't know how many CC's you won't need it.

These are one of the most sought after recognizable GSXR's of modern history.

lemme guess u went to that estate show in sf, and picked up a 02 600 telefonica, plan on cleaning it and making it presentable and want to flip it for good $.

glws, id provide the VIN to buyers can verify it is a real telefonica from factory.

Sorry to say, the bike did not come from an estate sale. I do plan on providing the Vin# and selling for what the market will bare, based on the past 3 that have sold on ebay, I'll be right in the ball park. Once for sale, I'm hopeful it will sale fairly quickly.

I've always thought that was such an epic fail for Suzuki to put that set of plastics on a 600 instead of the 750 or 1k.

Exactly, it's a notification thread that an iconic bike in exceptional condition will be for sale shortly. I've been prepping the bike for sale. I've had to do the normal, new battery, new oil, antifreeze, injector cleaned, tires etc since the bike has hardly been ridden in the past 3 years. I drove it home (about 30 miles) and it ran perfect, but still needs to be spit shined. Although this could be a daily driver, I'd expect maybe a collector or someone that is really anal about the upkeep of their bike or wants a real Movistar Telefonica specific model, may be more interested.

I was hoping to have it up for sale starting tomorrow (Sunday, Fathers Day) but I'm a bit behind, so it may be a few days. As soon as it's up, I'll post a link here.

All the "members" that are upset about this simple post aren't "contributors" and really add little or nothing to the Barf community.

It's a motorcycle forum, talking about motorcycle related topics. If you don't think it's rare based on knowing 3 people that had one, who cares. I can't help that the Mods moved it from Bikes for Sale to the General, but I'm glad they did!

"There were only 500 shipped to the United States. You will have to find the vin and run it. You will also have authitcated stickers on the frame. If those are removed then match all three vins and run them with your local DMV. You can also find out through your local Suzuki dealer. I have n umber 18 out of 500 and stole it from a person who knew nothing about this edition. The bike was produced to commemorate the 2001 Championship. 600cc's were the only edition made.
