Interesting day out there. Lots of incidents (ambulance rolled twice that I saw) and then a rain/wind/dust storm to ruin the last couple sessions. Thought it was a well run track day though, the first one I've done with them.
I personally had a tough day bike-wise. I picked it up Saturday and realized on lap 1 that the thing did NOT want to turn-in. The fork springs are way overkill. Was able to help it a bit messing with the compression settings but still not great. Good enough to learn the track though and at least get some laps in.
It was nice meeting you Dan. You've got a beautiful bike and you ride it well. You were killing me in the early sessions but after the changes you were a nice tow. Hope you made it home safely too. I think you spent more time in the truck today than at the track. :laughing

Yes, the dust storm sucked. But it was a great day until then (about 3:30). Very well run day, lots of riders but things went very smoothly. It was nice that we ran thru lunch, especially with the end of the day coming a little early. It was fun trying to learn a couple of new turns. I've never run the longer versions of T2 and the turn before the esses. I was having some rear traction issues all day and was spinning out of a bunch of the turns. I'm sure I was making a few of the riders behind me nervous. Good times.
