Since my grandkids got into dirtbikes I got tired of wearing my street helmet when we go to Hollister Hills but didn't want to spend too much for a dirt helmet(only helmet that fits me well is Arai). We were at Cycle Gear to get the grand daughter new gloves, she's 13 and outgrew her original pair in just a few months, and tried on a Bilt helmet.Wow,fits me as well as my Arai street helmet and on sale for $55 .:thumbup Very impressed as I was an Arai snob(well, it was the only brand I could wear all day without a pressure point on what some of my friends call my 8 head)
:teeth

Most people i think would be pleasantly surprised by the quality BILT has. Not all of their stuff is great, but most of it is good.

I have no problem with most Bilt stuff, mx helmets included, however you can expect massive amounts of contrary vomit spewed here by C/G haters.

My buddy's had a Bilt full face for a couple of years now.

Nice looking lid, good quality and nothing has worn or fallen off.

Tremendous value.

I wear a Built Explorer helmet. I like the fit :thumbup

My family has been visiting from New Zealand, 3 pairs of boots, 2 pairs of CG jeans, 1 built jacket and looks like the one staying for another 5 weeks will be purchasing the BILT Explorer suit, helmet , and gloves.

Please expand on this. Facts only not hearsay from sisters friends cousin who had a Bilt helmet crack in half when it fell off the table at StarBucks.:teeth

Wow, when was that? I know the Icon helmets performed badly when they first came out but for a helmet to crack in half when it's molded ?

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Because no company has ever made their products perfect 100% of the time, every time. And yes, that goes towards people who make safety equipment.

That is true but does Bilt have more problems with the safety aspect of their helmets than other manufacturers?
Thought you might know something about that from your first comment "Well,it's better than no helmet".
