Excellent poll question. My heart wants Dovi to keep rolling, but my head says maybe not.

Lüthi & Morbidelli go to The Big Dance next year with Marc VDS. Good hunting, guys. My guess would be that Morbidelli adapts in 2 years & Lüthi is gone in 1 if he doesn't have a multi year contract.

Thank you.

Arbitrary Number Thing :
Average of rider's finish position at previous Silverstone races. There were several DNFs. I gave the riders the benefit of the doubt by using their last lap position. Yes, this throws the whole business out the window. But maybe not.
Marquez 2.25
Lorenzo 2.86
Pedrosa 3.67
Dovizioso 3.86
Rossi 4.14
Viñales 6.00

Perfect score in bowling and Rossi's next landmark win. I hope.
If he doesn't win this I hope he hits the podium and Dovi or someone completely new wins it though the list of candidates capable of that in the dry seem to be shrinking.

hard to draw any conclusions from that. only thing i see is that HRC goes well and Rossi doesnt. Dovi has been there plenty of times on wildly diff Ducs. Jorge and Mav are on new bikes.

Just got a message from MotoGP. Apparently my PAID subscription will be revoked if I don't give them personal details to complete my profile by the 4th. Guess the info they want is my actual address. City and country wasn't enough. Anyone else got that msg ?

Ref. numbers : No conclusion intended. Simply that for results drawn from 6 riders, 33 races, and 7 seasons, the number GROUP(max minus min = 3.75) is small. In this case, small is very good. Big fun this weekend.

old and slow
MM dumps it twice. First one was nasty!

Wish they had a good angle of that first replay... He got bucked and it looks like he landed square on his hip, tumbled, then slid into home. Looked pretty fast from the onboard...

The second was just front letting go- the standard "where's my front tire limit" MM practice crash.

Is it just me or does the track look bumpier than normal? They had a slomo of one of Rossi's laps and I know Silverstone has never been the best surface, but maybe I'm on crack and all...
