Break/ rotor recommendations 08 Daytona

So this is my first time buying brake pads/ rotors for a bike and would like to hear your recommendations on a good setup on my 2008 Daytona 675.

I will be looking to do track days and the bike has SS lines already so I am looking for higher performance than stock.

The rears have plenty of life left so I don't think I will need to change those.

Thanks in advance.

Why are you changing rotors? Are they worn out? You don't need new rotors for better braking.

Change your brake fluid to Motul 600 rbf or other GOOD race brake fluid.

For street track try Vesrah RJL or EBC EPFA. Do not use anything lower.

The rotors seemed thin so just asking in case they are in need of replacing. I definitely will be changing the break fluid as well but I have done that before on the SV. Just the brake pads and rotors are new to me.

Rotors "seem thin?" Did you actually measure them against minimal thickness specs, or did you just eyeball them? Unless they were abused I find it difficult to believe.

I did not measure. The question of what rotors to get was more for if they do need replacing now or down the road. Of course I will measure before I replace them but just wanted to see if other brands were preferred over the stock ones.

The only way to know is to measure them. It's not rational to buy new ones until you have done this. Is there a ridge where the swept (worn by pad) portion meets the unswept, or are they the same height? It's probably they are not worn out, unless you have 130k hard miles on that bike.
