best place on BARF to post a moto project thread?

I have a question/suggestion that I've been meaning to ask. First, some back story... I belong to another forum that is specifically for folks who build custom motos. I've been using this other forum exclusively for the past 9 years to post build threads on all of my project bikes. Recently that forum was taken over by a large corporate owner and the format has drastically changed. Many features that we enjoyed have been lost. Because of this, some folks, myself included, have begun to look for alternative forums to post our project threads.

I know that other's on BARF have posted project threads in the past, but I have no idea where to find them (general? photo area? garage?). So my question (partially a suggestion) is where is the best location on BARF to post build threads? ...or would it even be possible to have a new area designated specifically where folks can post and discuss their moto projects?

This is reason #1 million why I am so happy (and we all should be grateful) Budman hasn't taken the money grab opportunities that have been presented to him in the past.

i think they're scattered all about the forum. for now, IMO, motophotos is the best fit in a general sense.

After taking a look, I've drawn two conclusions... yes, the photo page seams to be the popular place for posting moto projects. Second, I never would have known there were other projects being documented. Even the sticky was only last updated in 2016, so I'm wondering how many people know about it? I didn't. It would sure be nice if there was a designated place just for projects that was easy to find... just say'n.

Anyway, if and when I decide to start documenting some of my projects here, I'll do it in the photo area. Thanks.

Let me know where you end up here Julian. I may post a project or two here. But my projects can take a loooooooooooooooooooooong time and yours are usually a bit quicker.

I recently went to that other place to look for some ideas. I hadn't been there in a long time. It did seem much different than before, not much traffic, and ended up with no new ideas. Too bad.

It's kinda nice to stay local here too, don't you think?
