BARF Hive Mind - Looking for a specialized valve wrench

Hi all, looking for someone smarter than me who may have some idea where to find the tool we need. Here's the use case:

We have a valve that is buried about 2 feet deep in a box. The valve has an 1-1/4" stem, and that's what we need to turn.

The box is too small across to get a wrench down in there and have room for a handle with sufficient leverage.

What we think we need is a T-handle wrench with a 3 to 4 foot long stem, and with a 2 to 3 foot handle on top, and a drive that will fit over that 1-1/4" square valve stem.

The PG&E guy didn't have one, and we checked with a local plumbing contractor who didn't have one either.

Before we have one fabbed up, do any of you have any idea where we could borrow or rent or buy a tool that would work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Pretty sure what you're looking for is called a Gate Valve Wrench. If you could find one with a 1/2 drive end, you could make it whatever size you want.

picture. picture would help

something like this?
https://www.grainger.com/product/31...kwcid=AL!2966!3!264955915868!!!g!502447222717!

i'd probably take a measurement or 2 and wander down to the metal supply place and start measuring the inside of some square tube drops. if one fits, and is long enough just put an adjustable monkey wrench on the top that sticks above ground. no need to fab anything

The one on the Grainger catalog looks like what I imagine we need. I really like your idea of getting a square tubing drop, then putting a wrench on it.

Something like a curb key for a water valve?

Yeah, that's the idea.
