I think we left at about 2pm. We ended up parking at Bee Camp as there was no shade to park under at the one up by the mini track.

Just made a last minute descision to load up the DB's and head to Hollister. I drive a grey Jeep Wrangler that's pretty highly lifted with large tires. If you head down, stop and say hi.

Bad news, I will not be dirt riding this weekend. We had to change Jennifer's bike engine case (cracked) and we are still waiting for 2 oil seals... They did not come in today. A friend of mine is trying to get them from another source but it is very unlikely... Have fun and see you another time on the dirt (dust right now ;))

So sorry to hear about Jennifer's bike! We had a great 2 days at Stonyford, dusty as hell and zero traction, but fun nonetheless. There were few people out there with the conditions which made it okay.

Unfortunately I am in a similar position as Jennifer now as on Sunday I started hearing a weird noise....looks the main bearing has gone bad and we'll be splitting the cases on the Gas Gas too. Hopefully all the bikes will be done in time for the rain.

I got the oil seals yesterday. If all goes well, we should be in Stoneyford on saturday with Belinda and Mick... ;)

Are you guys planning to race? Good luck if you do! Conditions were do-able with nobody out there on the trails, but don't forget you x-ray vision goggles if you plan to ride there during the enduro ;) Unless we get a lot of rain this week the trails should be quite a challenge.

No racing, just practicing... The race has been cancelled because of the lack of rain (or excess of dust ;))

I am in the East Bay as well (and am a girl too). I usually ride every weekend, but won't start riding again for a couple weeks. The dust is just too much right now, plus I am rebuilding my bikes motor right now so she is out of commission :(

Feel free to PM me your email address if you would like to be included in upcoming rides, there is an informal group of gals that ride in this area, and we usually send emails around letting people know where we are riding.

I say whoever is planning a dirt ride post something in the Group Rides forum so we can make a plan to get together. I am up for another ride soon.

Great, looks like we've got several ppl who want to go. I agree posting something on the group rides is a great idea. You want to start one Jeebusx????? I'm not too familiar with places we can go.
