We are a small, established Audio/Video Integration company seeking a motivated Entry Level to Experienced AV Technician to add to our strong team that is dedicated to hard work. We are located in Alameda, CA and with projects across the Bay Area and California, as well as some out of state projects.
This position is Full-Time and not Contract.
Job Description:
- Working with our Lead Installer to install audio/video equipment for conference rooms in a professional office environment
-Cat5e/6, speaker, fiber optic, structure wire/cable installation and terminations. New & existing construction.
- Clean up and organize around the warehouse when needed.
- Various office duties when needed.
- Organizing equipment at the warehouse before loading vehicles for installations.
- Manage and prep all A/V equipment.
- Communicate with production supervisor on the status of all A/V equipment for items being pulled that day.
- Able to operate power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Finish duties and tasks in a timely manner.
Future Job Duties when your skill level is higher:
- Manage, organize and track all A/V inventory.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Diagnose and resolve media system problems.
- Notify supervisor when major equipment repairs are needed.
- Able to communicate with clients on-site.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and team driven.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Quick and eager to learn.
- Able to travel around the Bay Area.
- Able to crawl into ceilings to run wire.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Must have own reliable vehicle relevant to get to the office. A work vehicle will be used for job site installations.
- Must provide references - 2 personal and 2 professional.
- Must have good customer service and communication skills, dependable, reliable with a sense of urgency and commitment.
- No tools necessary, they will be provided.
Pay:
- Compensation based on experience and willingness to work as a team.
- Full benefits (half paid by company, half paid by employee) once 90 day probation period has passed.
- Company expenses paid.
