Anyone ridden or have a 2017-2019 KTM 250EXC-F or Husqvarna FE250

I have searched other forums and posted on them. I currently have a 2016 KTM 350XC-F, but have seen some deals on leftover 2019 250exc-f's and FE250's. Anyone have one, or ridden one? I am wondering if they might be worth having in replacement of my 350XC-F, as a second bike, or just should ignore them and look at the 350/500s.

I fluctuate between 175-180 without gear. It would need to go 60mph for a few miles on road. Right now I would use it for fun around town, at local OHV's (carnegie is closest) and tracks, but possibly up at elevation in Tahoe.

I know it will have less power than my 350xcf, but how bad is it? I have searched a bunch of places and can't find any real HP/TRQ numbers stock or uncorked.

Like all excf of the FI generation, it needs a gearing change, desmog,, real dirt tires and fueling modifications to be what it should be.

I rode a customer's 250xcw after I did the top end. It was fun ripping tight singletrack, but I wouldn't want a 250f as a main dual sport.
Heck, I just chose my 2007 450 over a 2016 350 for riding up at 6k feet here in truckee.

Me? Yes, 350 excf is wide ratio.
Only the sx and xc are close ratio in the current ktm lineup.
Excf and xcw are wide ratio.

Oh my bad lol, I meant his. I was wondering if maybe he accidently left out the "W" because I've got a friend interested in that bike.

Mine is a XCF, not W. It is very similar to a SXF, but 18" rear wheel, different suspension valving, kickstand and 6 speed transmission. I thought I read somewhere that have is wider than the SXF trans, but narrower than the EXC/XCFW. Although I can't find it anywhere now, Haha
