Anyone racing/going to the Baja 500 on 6/1/13?

I'll be down there with the team prerunning for a week, we'll be "racing" in the sportsman class, the slowest group they have. lol
The race is 500+/- miles with a 22 hour time limit, almost half of our race will be at night.
Last year 16 of the 22 entries finished, we have a chance people! hahahahaa

Team Stache consists of two dirt bike racers, me, my uncle and a cousin, 5 total, running it on a XR650R, the bike's owner will have it ready, no help needed there.

If anyone is down there in Ensenada for the race, say hi, we'll be easy to spot. :frankie

Anyone with insight, advice or a deathwish (we might consider a 6th rider, not sure yet) post up and share what you know.

yep, I'll do my best to keep track of it all, so far-

Score Registration per rider is $75ea.
Score Sportsman Team registration for the race is $875.
Transponder and case for the bike is $250-$500.
Pits- undecided, prolly just gas the bike when we switch riders.

Hotel- $80ea total for 8 nights.
Truck gas, round trip- $325 without trailer, $500 if I tow the trailer.
Tacos- $60.
Beer- $100.
Helicopter ride/Hospital- TBD.
