Anyone familiar with the lock picking lawyer on Youtube?

I watched a few of his videos. Damn, looks like no lock is going to more than slow a determined thief down a little.

I like bosnianbill better.

I've been watching both of them.
LPL's videos with the ramset gun are fun to watch.
Also this guy blasts into locks with a pick so fast I don't think that he needs a key for anything.

LPL almost never films when he first attacks a lock. He knows the order of pins by the time he sets up the camera.

Usually Bosnian Bill will film his first encounter with a lock. He doesn't cheat.

Both are awesome to watch. LPL is really talented. I don't know how he's so successful with the heavy tension he puts on the turning tool.

I like these guys' videos too. Though I always found it a lot easier picking at the comfort of your bench with the lock at the angle you want in a vise. A pick is changed profoundly when the lock is mounted on the door!

I agree on the tension, though I've seen a few fellow 'smiths in my time with "a broken tension wrench every week" picking style have relative working success. I prefer a solid wrench (without the turn) and rely on my personal feel for tension.

Sadly, stayed a little too busy to bench pick all day. Most of the picking I had to do was at the doors, and I always whipped out my gun in the interest of speed.

Good times...
