Anybody playing with drones?

So, I get this ad on facebook yesterday - it looks good; flight time is reasonable, the supposed videos look clear, and price is pretty decent. I can't find any reviews of it, though - so, has anyone here seen it, or seen anything else in that price range (<$100) that compares to it?

Get a DJI Spark.

I haven't seen it or anything like it. Having owned a DJI Spark for the better part of 1.5 years and flying it regularly, I'd be a little suspicious of something that seems too good to be true.

I'm not saying there aren't great deals out there, but that claims to have a great deal of features for an extremely low price.

If you're looking at drones, decide what you're planning to do with it first. Flying it around like a racer or interested in doing flips and tricks? Get one for that. Want to do aerial photography or videography? Got one for that. Travel? You get it. Just like everything else, you'll find that there is no one best drone, and in general, I think you get what you pay for.

Craigslist is a good place to find good deals on lightly used drones. I think a lot of people spend a lot of money on some nice drones and then find out they're not using them. Also, the technology moves quickly, so last years model goes at good prices.

Thanks guys, but $400 is way above my budget - $100 is pushing it! But the one I pointed to is regularly $250, on sale for $97 and it has a flight time of 30 minutes where most of the ones I've seen for under $100 have flight times of 5 minutes or so.

Its Dethklok!
My daughter got me one for christmas. I would figure its the toys r us version. upon reading the directions and pamphlet for buying more batteries I see it has a flight time of 5 minutes. 5 minutes?

What brand did you get? The website for the Gryphon model says flight time is 30 minutes...

This company was selling a $1400 Mavic Pro Platinum Bundle for $300. They specify limited quantities, so you're more apt to make a spontaneous purchase.

Merozo Scam

I'm just going to point out that a couple of the images of the drone in their promo video on the site aren't the same drone as being advertised on the page. In fact, it looks like a Mavic.

Just saying.
