Bling: the bar top is the only part of the bar that we have fully under control. I’m thinking about doing the framing and such myself, as it really isn’t that complicated. I’ll have a plumber and electrician do their stuff, as I want that to be done properly.

I’ve been doing more research on the cold room stuff and it sounds like I could do a pretty decent job building one myself and using a Coolbot to control the cooling unit. I am strongly leaning towards that direction, as we are trying to conserve money as much as possible. If I build the cold rooms on the cheap and have to replace them in a few years (assuming I mess them up somehow) that is OK. We’ll (hopefully) have considerably more money at that time than we do right now.
If you have a sec, I would love to hear about the significant mistakes you’ve seen. Hopefully, I’ll be able to avoid most of the pitfalls.
