Android flashlight icon gone?

Can anyone tell me where my flashlight icon went? I'm pretty sure I didn't change anything, tried to turn on my flashlight earlier and then icon was gone (picture below is not from my phone but that's what it looked like). It was there a couple days ago :dunno .

You can customize what shows up in the quick toggles when you swipe down.

I don't know. I just checked mine and it's still there and working.

The new android update changed my icons around, and I had to customize it.

There should be an edit button in the bottom right hand corner when you swipe down (screen where flashlight was). Hit edit and drag your flashlight back.

There is settings to customize those quick link drop down. The Flashlight isn't selected in those settings.
Also could be a maximum limit of icons to display on the quick links. Means having to get rid of one of the links to make room. Uncheck in the settings.

they are customize able... well at least on my phone they are . And guess what I moved the stupid Wifi icon away after I found I turned it off when I didn't want to

I've had Android fonts for.. uh. 6 years?

Didn't even know there was a flashlight! I just turn the screen on that's usually enough hahaha /luddite

No the automatic flashlight started with Android 5 ..I mean automatically being provided up in the menu.

Odd, I have Android 6 and have never seen a flashlight there. Have always gotten a third party app for that from the Play Store.

It's actually different depending on the manufacturer. The screen above is black which presumed vanilla or Motorola.

My own pulldown menu with these icons is white what can I say but I still have the flash light icon...

Thanks for your replies! I haven't upgraded to 7.0 so that's not the issue and I didn't try to customize.

I didn't do anything but the flashlight is back. The prior screenshot was one I found online but this one is from my phone. Yesterday I only had six icons with cast on the same row as auto-rotate and location and no flashlight. Now its there.
