Alpinestars suit sizing

Just curious if anyone here with my body size/type is wearing a 50 Euro/40 US sized Alpinestars 1-piece suit.

Me:
5'11"
190lbs
39" Chest
34" Waist

I'm a slim athletic build and carry more of my weight in my legs because of the sports I play. For example, my thigh is 24.5" which puts me in a 52/42 feeling "race fit" in the legs, but my chest being at 39" makes a suit feel more "comfort fitting" up top even with a back protector.
Just fyi... I'm asking because the shop did not have a 50/40 to try at the time. I did try a 50/40 size jacket with quilted liner and could actually zip it up and still feel like I could take a relaxed breath.
This just sucks being stuck between two sizes especially with leather being able to "break in" a bit.

Im 5ft 9, 160lbs maxxing out my 40/50 a* suit with a helimot chest protector and forcefield back protector

I would say 40 prolly way to small for you, or get chest/back protection.

Im squeezing to zip up the front, 1 piece wearing underarmour type material top bottom

I think you're shooting a bit small with the 50eu. I'm 6'0" 180lb, 33 waist, 34 inseam and otherwise similar build and my 52 A* suit fits like a glove without, and snug as a bug but not restricting with a full back protector on.

depends on which A* suit. the high-end roo suit is 2-4 sizes smaller than the lower-end models.

u can always get the larger size and have it altered for a much better fit

OR you can get a suit from Juan at Zooni and actually pay less than a high-end A*, even without alterations. My choice. (Although I just bought an inexpensive suit, that I think he needs to alter.) :laughing

I do both, so I am covered from all directions. I have custom and cheap. This is why I have a garage full of junk. I don't want to put up with stupid remarks like yours. :laughing

What's alteration usually run for taking in the chest and maybe taper the arms?

Last time I tried on an A* suit, I was 5'10'', 200 lbs, 42'' chest, 26'' thighs (athletic build). I thought 56 euro was my best size.
