A little afternoon delight

It's always fun to ride with another GB500, and yesterday I got a visit from a new GB owner. After doing a bit of service on his bike we headed up to Winters for lunch at Steady Eddy's Coffee House.

After lunch we went our separate ways, me taking the long way home to enjoy the sunshine, twisty roads and blooming redbud.

Now thats motorcycling. Bikes that don't look like creased origami, remote road, shared is doubled. Cool.

Thanks. "Creased origami", being a vintage bike guy that phrase perfectly captures my reaction to modern bike styling! I know they are superior in all the metrics that should matter: performance, handling, braking, but aesthetically I don't feel the same passion for their styling. No problem though, at 71 years old I don't look so hot anymore either.

That starts well before 71. Count me in.
Classic means cool and awesome.

I think you got that nailed. Bikes look awesome.
Scenery is awesome. Photos bring the awesome.

Classic.

Second to last pix, so different from my first time @ that spot.
It used to be a tight right angle turn across the bridge, cool and shady.
Maybe four 90's and Dave packing double with his white 150 Dream. Out rolling, full adventure mode, after school. Hot baked from the road, wishing we had water, creek low, & murky. Hanging in the shade for a few.
